As a junior tennis player Sam was ranked in the top 50 United States. He played varsity tennis at the University of Alabama and is tied for the third most wins there. He transferred and then played #3 singles and #1 doubles at Clemson University. Sam has held positions and coached at the Wild Dunes Resort and Charleston Southern University in the Charleston, SC area. Coach Edwards also served as a traveling ITF Coach for junior players. Sam prefers working with “High Performance” players.

Sami grew up in Georgia and played junior tournaments. He was nationally ranked as a junior tennis player from the state of Georgia. Sami graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in Psychology. He began playing tennis at 4 years of age and he developed a deep love and passion for the game, so much so, he wants to combine his expertise and knowledge gained from his degree to give students of all levels and ages the best on-court learning experience they can have.
