Tennis Dynamics and the Laurel Park Tennis Center congratulate James Weber—2026 USTA Georgia Al Parker Junior Player of the Year!
Tennis Dynamics and Laurel Park Tennis Center are proud to announce that longtime player James Weber, who has trained at the Laurel Park Tennis Center throughout his childhood, has been named USTA Georgia’s 2025 Al Parker Junior Player of the Year.
James represents everything we strive to build here in Marietta: discipline, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love of the game. Over his junior career, he competed in more than 1,500 matches without a single code violation—a remarkable testament to both character and composure.
He also went undefeated in all his years of playing while representing Georgia in the Bill Ozaki Southern Cup, one of Southern junior tennis’ toughest team events.
This fall, James will take the next step in his journey and compete for the University of Georgia Men’s Tennis Team. We could not be more excited to see him move on to one of the nation’s great collegiate tennis programs.

His father and coach commented, “Watching James grow from a young player at Laurel Park into one of Georgia’s most respected juniors has been an extraordinary experience to witness. Al Parker himself played for the University of Georgia and he is widely considered the greatest junior tennis player of all time.
