Our t-shirts this year all have on the back of them ‘Get ‘N Gud’. Let me relate where this short quote comes from for you. Several years ago my son was hitting balls on the ball machine there at the Laurel Park Tennis Center. He was using his mother’s big racquet. He did so for almost 2 straight hours. He would hit and then fill the machine and start all over. I watched from my office window as he practiced. He was only three years old. At the end when he was done he came inside to show me his palm. The center of his hand had a large blister. I asked ‘How’d you get that?’, and I will never forget the response. He said, ‘Get ‘n gud!’. I loved his answer and enthusiasm so I stuck it on the back of all of our t-shirts this year.
One of the best posts on Get ‘N Gud at anything. I love reading Coach Tym’s stuff and hope others will share what he writes.

Just a quick post to keep everyone up to speed. Thabani Sithole has returned to the USA and to the Laurel Park Tennis Center on a limited basis. He had a long stay in his homeland. We have really missed him and we are glad he has returned. His return to the Laurel Park Tennis Center keeps a tradition of tennis professionals from the African continent alive here at the center. Over many years there seems to have been a connection with tennis players from that area of the world.
